Robin Williams Signed Aladdin Display

"Oi! Ten thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck."

This cool double matted display from the 1992 Disney classic Aladdin consists of a great picture of Aladdin and Genie, together with the rare signature of Robin WIlliams who provided the voice and personality for Genie. It has been matted using only acid free materials to a size of 14x11. This would be the perfect addition to any child's bedroom or nursery.

Aladdin is a street-urchin who lives in a large and busy town long ago with his faithful monkey friend Abu. When Princess Jasmine gets tired of being forced to remain in the palace that overlooks the city, she sneaks out to the marketplace, where she accidentally meets Aladdin. Under the orders of the evil Jafar (the sultan's advisor), Aladdin is thrown in jail and becomes caught up in Jafar's plot to rule the land with the aid of a mysterious lamp. Legend has it that only a person who is a "diamond in the rough" can retrieve the lamp from the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin might fight that description, but that's not enough to marry the princess, who must (by law) marry a prince.

As you would expect of a Disney the animation in Aladdin was flawless, however, it was Williams' larger than life performance as Genie which truly brought the film to life. During the course of recording the voices, Robin Williams improvised so much they had almost 16 hours of material. Williams briefly studied political science before enrolling at Juilliard to study theatre. After graduation, he performed in night clubs where he was discovered for the role of Mork on an episode of "Happy Days" (1974) and the subsequent "Mork & Mindy" (1978) TV series. Williams' wild comic talent involves a great deal of improvisation, following in the footsteps of his idol, Jonathan Winters. Williams has also proven to be an effective dramatic actor with credits including Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam and Dead Poets Society. Don't miss out on your chance to bring the magic of Disney into your home forever!

Imagine if you had three wishes, three hopes, three dreams and they all could come true.
