Jamie Foxx Signed The Amazing Spiderman 2 Display

"I can feel it in the walls, I feel it in my veins... no matter what you do, Doc, you can't contain me. You wanna know how powerful I am? Well, I wanna know too. I'm Electro!"

This quality display features a great shot of Spiderman and Electro squaring up in The Amazing Spiderman 2 together with the signature of  Jamie Foxx who played the role of Electro in the film. The piece has been professionally double matted, using acid free materials, to an overall size of 18x12  inches - making it a must for any Spidey fan! Jamie has literally been breaking records recently - he is only the second male in history to receive two acting Oscar nominations in the same year for two different movies. The first male to do so was Al Pacino. Jamie also became the first African American to be nominated for two Oscars in the same year.

We've always known that Spider-Man's most important conflict has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that his greatest battle is about to begin. It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.

Whilst Jamie has undoubtedly gone onto a new level in terms of success in the past year, he has not had success overnight. He has been working hard to get the stardom his talents deserve for many years, steadily building up his roles. Jamie's mother, Louise, was an adopted child. When her marriage to his father failed, his grandparents, Mark and Esther Talley, stepped in and, at age 7 months, adopted him too. He says he had a very rigid upbringing that placed him in the Boy Scouts and the church choir. During high school, he played quarterback for his high school team and was good enough that he got press in Dallas newspapers. He studied music in college. He released a music album in 1994, "Peep This" and sings the theme song for his 1999 movie, Any Given Sunday (1999). However, in 1989, his life changed when a girl friend challenged him to get up onstage at the Comedy Club. In fact, he says he took his androgynous stage name because he learned that women got preference for mike time on open stage nights. That led to his being cast in "Roc" (1991) and "In Living Color" (1990) and ultimately to his own WB network TV series. With a starring role in the Miami Vice movie and many other leads, Jamie looks set to be a huge star for many, many years to come.
